| The IS89C37D is a pin compatible upgrade to ISSC’s first generation IS89C33. It integrates an 802.11a/b/gcompliant Wireless LAN Media Access Controller,the corresponding baseband modulation/demodulation functions and a PCI2.2compliant host interface. It carries forward all the key features of the IS89C33 and adds new features such as 802.11e QoS, 802.11h radar detection at 5GHz and 802.11j that extends the spectrum to cover 4.9 - 5GHz range used in Japan.When combined with a compatible RF transceiver, the IS89C37D can be used to make low cost and low power wireless access cards. |
